Enabled Make Private Folder in Win Xp

Assuming you have Windows XP Pro.
Open Explorer, Go to Tools>Folder Options: View tab and make sure Use simple
file sharing is disabled.

Go to the folder that you want to look into. Right click on the folder and
click Properties: Security tab: Advanced: Owner Tab: Click on the user that
needs to have access, check the box: Replace owner on subcontainers and
objects, Click OK. Ok finished.

Two Modem One PC/Computer
for Win98, WinME and Win2000 user/computer/machine

If you have two phone lines in your home and want to use them both to dial out,
you can use MultiLink, which will effectively double your connection speed.
Here is the step:

01.Create a dial-up connection like your normally would.
02.Right click on the icon and select Properties
03.Click on the Multilink tab

hi, i just looking around on how to fast my PC. i know the basic thing like adjusting visualization, removing program from startup and so on

but today i got new lesson which is this command "Rundll32.exe advapi32.dll,ProcessIdleTasks"

as far i know (from my research) this command will his frees up any idle tasks running in the background.

to run it run>>type Rundll32.exe …

Here is the step:

01.Create a dial-up connection like your normally would.
02.Right click on the icon and select Properties
03.Click on the Multilink tab
04.Click on Use additional devices
05.Click on the Add
06.Click on the other modem you would like to use

If your ISP allows, you can use the same phone number, otherwise enter an additional phone number to dial.
You should now connect with both modems.
You can confirm this by opening up your dial up connection in the System Tray after you connect.
